I wanted to share just a few images from this beautiful maternity shoot I had this past Saturday. Destiny is expecting her first little girl in a month or two. I used one of JEM’s favorite locations and also played dress-up as well. I thought this dress was perfect for her, paired with a beautiful field and a flawless woman, makes for the perfect shoot. Thank you Destiny. You are GoRGeOuS!!!
Marcus is one sweet guy. He called us up and said he had this really great idea for his wife…he wanted to surprise her with a photo shoot for their one year anniversary. Ummmm…YES. This is a fabulous idea Marcus! The best thing was he didn’t call one week in advance. He called 2 months beforehand. Shacara has been wanting pictures of the two of them for eight years now, and all she was getting at these requests were goofy faces in every family photo. Marcus told me, that he absolutely hated getting his picture taken, but he knew his wife would love it. She didn’t expect to meet me at Sidecut on a Friday evening, she thought she was going for a picnic 
Surprise. The best thing was that their were arrangements for her best friend to drive in from Cleveland to pamper her and help her choose an outfit before the ‘picnic’. Everything that was put into this special shoot was so thoughtful, and Shacara, you radiate beauty in every single picture. Your happiness melts off of these, and Marcus’ affection for you is so clear. I’m so glad that I met you both!
This beautiful cousin of mine Lizzie, has so much going for her. She will be graduating from high school ‘down’ in Virginia this June. Then she has the world on a string She has so much spunk and energy and sweetness to her that wherever she goes she will succeed. I love her to pieces and after many talks of coming to Ohio to see Rob and I, it finally happened!! We had 3 days to hang out and on Easter, we went to Botanical Gardens to snap a few pictures. I can’t get over how much you look like Taylor Swift, or should I say, Taylor looks like you? Elizabeth, you are a stunning young woman and girrrllll…you worked that camera. Love from Ohio, Em.
Nana’s backyard is so peaceful and quiet and lovely. It’s plopped along a country road and if you didn’t know where you were, you would think you were in the U.P. The only hard part about shooting here was that Logan, who just turned four, wanted to go fishing the whole time. What do you mean, you don’t want to hang out on this really cool ladder in the middle of the grass?? You would rather choose fishing over haning out with your brother in a wagon?? What? This was a gorgeous evening to hang out and take pictures. Cooper kept us busy and on our toes. He is fast! I wanted to post just a few of my favorites. Thank you Crystal and Kris!
I’m excited to post this engagement session from last week. Tyler and Lisa have this soft, amazing chemistry that I was able to capture in the back of Erie Apple Orchard on a Spring evening where the light danced in and out between fluffy clouds. We kept saying how we felt like our session was like a dream and Lisa even said she felt like this had happened before in her ‘dreamland.’ I’m a crazy dreamer, so I had to add that Lisa Now, let’s just say that Tyler looks at Lisa with the most endearing looks and those of you who know Lisa, can hear her soft voice in some of these pictures. It’s been brought to our attention that when we edit pictures, that we mimic the looks going on in the picture we are editing. How true this is! Ha! I’m glad that I don’t have facetime recording any of this.
Lisa and Tyler-you guys are awesome together. Enough said.
