Brian and Jenny are getting married this August at Maumee Bay. We had a previous engagement session back in January where it was quite literally the coldest day of the year. They are both summer people and so we decided to give it another whirl outside, but this time it was a gorgeous evening in July. We took their boat out to the lighthouse on Lake Erie. Their friend Dave graciously steered the boat while we snapped some pictures all the while there were 2-4 foot waves. I tend to be a big baby when it comes to waves, so when I wasn’t starring through my lens, I was intently focused on the horizon (that is a tip for not getting queasy I was told). We ended up at a place called the ‘hot spot’ where the water is toasty but much calmer. Here are some of my favorites from the shoot. It was hard to choose!
