Sugeily and Paul met at Redeemer Fellowship and kept running into eachother…noticing eachother before being formally introduced 
I have had the pleasure of knowing both of them along their journey together. Speaking of journey, Paul travelled all the way from California to be with his soon to be bride. Wow! I’m going to go ahead and say, “that is pretty darn amazing” They will be having their ceremony in a few short weeks and I am excited to be a part of this celebration!

I photographed the beautiful little Callie this morning for her 1 year portraits. She had lots of wardrobe changes and looked adorable in all her cute clothes. I fell in love with her little red shoes. I want a pair! I would like to give a shout out to JEM Photography’s very own baby whisperer, Emily! Time and time again your noises and hilarious acts to make kids laugh bring out the best in our smallest of clients. Thank you Em!

Just a few short months ago Erin and Kevin trecked through a feet of snow to get some beautiful engagement shots, so what a gorgeous contrast to photograph them among pink apple blossoms and yellow flowers. These two said their vows on April 17th at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Temperence MI. Afterwards we went to Erie Orchards and had a great time. I loved going through these photos and smiled as I thought back to that day and how everything worked out perfectly (even down to Erin’s eyeshadow complimenting the apple buds).

If you have ever meandered back behind our backdrop at the studio you would see a plethora of umbrellas. We have a soft spot for them. It was a rainy day like over the weekend that I got to use one of my favorites on this beautiful little girl. Hannah is soon to be two and it’s hard to believe she’s not a baby anymore (one of our first blogs showcases Hannah’s 1 year pictures). I loved photographing this innocent little girl with her big brown eyes that remind me of a cuddly teddy bear.
