This was the first time meeting this little guy and what fun it was!  We met at Secor Park last week and as I was unloading my car Dylan was just standing by his car just starring at me…trying to figure me out.  Once he saw that I had toys and a wagon he started to warm up and never stopped chatting about this and that, his favorite toys, his dog and on and on.  He had such a sparkle in his eyes and was so excited about everything.  Absolutely loved my time photographing this cool kid!  If you know me then you know that I love nicknames so of course I was all about Dylan’s nickname which was “Dyl Pickle”. Cute, right?  Thank you Holly and Dylan!  Great morning together!

{Tom & Amy} Fall Wedding

This couple I had the pleasure of photographing and getting to know while doing so. I think you can learn a lot about people in one day-especially on their wedding day. Amy, you have such a delicate, sweet voice that I think matches your personality so well and I also got to see your humorous side come out of you that says you don’t take life too seriously; Tom definitely  brings that side out of you too.  Tom, you are easy going and make friends very quickly-love that about you.

So, I have to mention that I talked to Amy a week before the wedding just to go over the details in detail.  She mentioned that on the way to the reception she would love to stop at their house and get a picture of her horse sniffing her bouquet. Ummm…Amy that is an AWESOME idea.  So on the day of the wedding, when we all marched out to the stable area, all of Amy’s horses didn’t recognize her! Who is this lady with her long hair all done up, and who is wearing a lovely, creamy-white dress??  Horses are smart, but still it took a while 🙂

Here are some highlights of your wedding day, horses and all…

Amber and Jason had such a beautiful wedding day.  The ceremony was at Jason’s Grandparents house and property in Ottawa Lake, Michigan.  If you are a JEM blog fan you might remember Amber and Jason’s engagement blog.  We also photographed the engagement portraits on the same property.  Of course the weather called for a perfect day for this outdoor wedding, but our Northwest Ohio weather had something else to say.  The ceremony was done and the receiving line/greetings with the bride and groom were almost done when the skies opened up and a 5 minute downpour came.  Luckily it didn’t last long and we were still able to get all of our beautiful pictures done outside.  The one thing I love about Amber and Jason is they are so happy in each other’s arms.  It seemed like they were always laughing together even during the ceremony! 🙂  What a beautiful day with so many details fitting for the bride and groom.  Thanks everyone!!!!

Ashly and Brian –  I loved documenting your love!  You two are so adorable together.  Hold on tight to what you have because not a lot of people are blessed enough with such amazing chemistry.  Thanks for everything, the laughs, the outfits and awesome schnuzzling for my camera!  Oh and Ashly, you are so very beautiful!  I hope you know that!  I could literally photograph you for days!
