So I could write a book on this family and their personalities from Sammy the youngest to Alisha and Josh who started it all 
Traditional is the last word that comes to mind and this I love…I love how each individual child is just that: an individual. I never came from a big family but I have an awesome career that lets me get to know families and the dynamics that make them unique. We started this photo shoot at Josh’s parents house and it was beautiful! The rows of yellow maples and the red cabin that was built years ago made a great place to photograph. Having this many children there is NEVER a dull moment. EVER. Ha! Energy thrived from one child to the next and when we were trying to get a picture of them huddled together, the tackling effect really brought a lot of excitement. The next stop after this was to a field up the road that was a perfect backdrop for the two youngest to have a tea party. These two girls were soooo excited. Something here reminded me of when I was a little girl. I could color for hours as a child but if my mom joined me and colored with me it was one of the best feelings to have her next to me. So when Evelyn and Sammy were having the tea party and their mom joined them…it was pure joy. Alisha and Josh-the two of you are not only incredible people you are absolutely incredible parents.
Extra Note: During the tea party it was an oddly warm night and it started raining one of those warm rains (this was three weeks ago) and I loved how we stayed out there while Josh adamantly exclaimed, it will pass. It only lasted about 2 minutes of light sprinkling and we continued on with slightly damp hair. This of course, made this a little extra special for the girls
You didn’t it again Emy made me cry. I love these pic and not just cause this happen to be one of my greatest friends ever But you captured this family just the way the are BEAUTIFUL and always laughing. Love them
Beautiful….just plain beautiful….don’t really know what else to say…except maybe…Wow!!!…really love the black and white, Too!!…and the one with their backs to the camara….gorgeous!!
