{Love to Last a Liftetime} Erin & Michael

Before reading this you might need a beverage or a snack because I have a book I am about to write concerning this wedding day and these wonderful people.

I met Erin last Thanksgiving when she was in town from Virginia and then again a few months later when she was back in town.  I distinctly remember her calling Michael from the studio to ask him a question and something from that quick conversation told me that, ‘wow, they have something special going on here’ Maybe the tone in her voice or the way she called him love was a clue…but I knew before even seeing them together in the same room that this couple had something special. So it was no surprise that when I actually saw the two of them together that it was clear that Erin and Michael  are really perfect for one another.

Walking down the aisle with her father beside her and trying to keep the tears from pouring out, I loved seeing the look of comfort on her face once she reached Michael. This ceremony was filled with love, emotion and at the end: bagpipes.  A reception immediately followed St. Patrick’s Church at The Hilton Garden Inn but that didn’t stop  us from getting a few pictures outside.  Now. Let me pause here. Erin and Michael laughed, hugged, smooched, and sang to eachother during  all photos.  If Michael opens his mouth to sing, Erin automatically laughs hysterically.  Michael, is that a compliment??

The rest of the night was filled with 3 cakes, 2 of which honored both sets of parents and their love and support to them both…great toasts, speeches and the best band ever- 56 Daze-that kept the dance floor alive all night long! Pause.  Erin didn’t know the song that was picked out for her and her father to dance to until it started playing and if I was better with reciting music I would insert the name of the song here__________, but unfortunately I was not blessed with a keen musical memory. But, this song made for an awesome dance between daughter and father, complete with both singing, laughing and twirling.

The last thing I am going to say is that this couple makes everyone feel welcome, so much so that I felt like a guest myself.  Erin and Michael I am truly happy for you both.
