{Jen and Carson} Oh My-Oh My, Simply a Lovely Wedding

July 10th, 2012

Jen and Carson, where do I even begin? I think half of Monroe and a third of Toledo already knows your dress story. If not, they can find it here.  The short version for everyone reading this blog who doesn’t know this awesome couple, is that Jen had to find a new dress less than one […]

Jen and Carson, where do I even begin? I think half of Monroe and a third of Toledo already knows your dress story. If not, they can find it here.  The short version for everyone reading this blog who doesn’t know this awesome couple, is that Jen had to find a new dress less than one week before her wedding due to a fire at her dress shop. Atlas Bridal in Toledo found her a ga-orgeous gown and she looked undeniably stunning.  Carson is a doer. He is  the guy that will do anything it takes to make Jen happy, and when this happend he was ready to book a plane to New York to pick up her dress in person.  This doesn’t surprise me 🙂

Your wedding was out of a storybook…backyard, white tent, family and friends, fireworks and what a PARTY, as I learned it was C-P style.  But, all of this, and still the most important thing is that you married the one you love, the one you can grow old and gray with.  I love you both…here’s to many, many years of happiness.

This is by far, the longest slideshow I have put together. Grab some popcorn and a drink.

Before the heat spell came to Toledo, we had a few evenings where it was warm, but not too warm. This evening was one of them. I was glad that I got to spend some time getting to know this sweet family…little Mason loves his daddy so much! He loves to be in his arms and he also LOVES the water. Erin said if these boys could swim from sunup to sundown, they would. Little man wanted so bad to go in the water, that, well…he did just that 🙂   And Braydon has the look of a little model and sometimes it took some question asking about his best friend to get a smile on his face for the camera 🙂 Erin and Marcus-you two have a beautiful family…

I’ve been taking Maddy’s pictures for three years now.  Each year we try to think of something new and so this year we met up at Maumee Bay State Park. Yes, it was warm…but it was great because hardly anyone was around and it was late enough that we were able to get some beauiful pictures with the golden sun. I love these relaxed shoots that we have when we can play around and enjoy the evening together.  A friend of JEM gave us one of the best gift we have ever recieved: a wooden swing. It is genius. We have already used it on little ones, weddings, seniors! ha! But, this was the first time I got to try it out and was absolutely excited to photograph such an innocent little girl swinging away.

{Maggie} Precious Newborn

July 3rd, 2012

I love capturing children and families in their own element….I had the pleasure of photographing this precious newborn, Maggie, at her house. Between photographing her inside and outside underneath the shade of the pine tree, I was also able to play with these adorable twins. Molly loves getting her picture taken, but Mason wasn’t too […]

I love capturing children and families in their own element….I had the pleasure of photographing this precious newborn, Maggie, at her house. Between photographing her inside and outside underneath the shade of the pine tree, I was also able to play with these adorable twins. Molly loves getting her picture taken, but Mason wasn’t too sure at first. He would rather be playing then getting his picture taken. It didn’t take too long for him to see that picture taking isn’t scary, it’s actually fun 🙂  They did so good and I think it helped that grandma was there to help out as mom held Maggie and would get her back to sleep. Here are just a few of my favorites…

I met Lindsey for the first time the other day for her senior portraits.  Lindsey is the perfect mix of sporty and girly and I took advantage of all those things.  We used the girly flower chair, pink bike and I even put a wildflower in her hair.  Lindsey also plays volleyball and basketball for Bedford.  She had all her jerseys in the car and she was hoping to get them all in a picture.  I thought pinned on a clothesline would be perfect! How cute her jerseys were blowing in the wind!!!  At times I would be photographing Lindsey and she looked like a country singer!  What an absolute beauty!  Thank you Lindsey and Michaele!  Had a blast with you guys!  Michaele, thank you for getting the supplies for the jersey idea!
