{Annah and Dave} Talk about Love

Yes, it poured down rain  on Annah and Dave’s wedding day. We had to move the ceremony inside and that small ‘vision’ of how they had always thought their wedding day would look like sort of changed. I can relate completely considering the same thing happend on our wedding day.  This may sound silly, but the only way I can help to describe this emotion is to imagine you are packing for a trip to Italy and as you get off the plane in Europe, you realize you aren’t in Italy, you have landed in Greece. You are still are going to enjoy every single bit of your trip but it’s just not going to be the same thing you envisioned. Turns out, it might be a little better. Annah and Dave’s wedding day was incredibly filled with love and emotion. I don’t’ think there was a dry eye during the ceremony. When Dave finally got to see his Annah walk down, we could hear him exhale and Annah was beaming.  Dave is so caring toward Annah that he even designed a website in order to propose to her! Annah is the kind of girl that is always uplifting and encouraging and truly puts a smile on everyone’s face.

And so yes, it rained BUT it stopped long enough for us to witness the end of the rainbow in the yard across the street.  Here’s a blog dedicated to the sweet couple. I’m so glad I met you both!

{ Andrea + Brady } Wedding Day

November 21st, 2012

There is so much I can say about this wedding, but the most important thing is how much love Andrea and Brady have for each other.  It’s the most adorable and beautiful thing.  I saw a glimpse at their engagement session, but this wedding day was so filled with their love.  I knew the day […]

There is so much I can say about this wedding, but the most important thing is how much love Andrea and Brady have for each other.  It’s the most adorable and beautiful thing.  I saw a glimpse at their engagement session, but this wedding day was so filled with their love.  I knew the day would be perfect, but at the beginning of the day when I lost the sixpence while photographing the shoes, I was worried I would somehow take away some luck.  Thankfully I enlisted help from Andrea’s sister and we found that lucky and meaningful coin from her aunt.  :o)  I soon learned that nothing, not even rain or a lost coin, could even begin to come between Andrea and Brady’s love and beautiful wedding smiles.  Thanks you two.  I loved being around you and your families for the day.  You two are very blessed. Enjoy!

{ Jessica + Ryan } Wedding Day

November 16th, 2012

If I had one word to describe this wedding it would be elegant.  Jessica’s dress was stunning and the one shoulder lace detail was so unique.  The Toledo Art Museum was a perfect backdrop for Jessica and Ryan’s portraits.  They are so comfortable in each others’ arms and I loved catching Jessica’s beautiful smiles and […]

If I had one word to describe this wedding it would be elegant.  Jessica’s dress was stunning and the one shoulder lace detail was so unique.  The Toledo Art Museum was a perfect backdrop for Jessica and Ryan’s portraits.  They are so comfortable in each others’ arms and I loved catching Jessica’s beautiful smiles and seeing her eyes light up when she looked at Ryan.  There is never enough time with the bride and groom.  I could have photographed them all day, but the 15 minutes I got was my most favorite part of the day.  So beautiful capturing love in my camera.  Thanks Jessica and Ryan!  Your day was beautiful just like the both of you!

{ Justine + Chad } A Botanical Wedding

A friend of Justine and Chad’s knew they would be a perfect match and tried for almost a year to arrange for them to meet. Once they finally met eachother, they hit it off immediately. Chad couldn’t stop talking about the girl he was falling in love with to his best friend. Chad’s best friend knew that this girl was WAY different since Chad NEVER talked about any girl that he had met. Ahhhh…sweet love.  This wedding day was incredibly laid-back and so enjoyable due in part to the fact that they decided to do a first look. We were able to enjoy the sun peeking in and out of the clouds all day. Before the reception at St. Joseph’s, we were able to take a few pictures in downtown Sylvania.

{ Shannon + Justin }

November 14th, 2012

It was a perfect fall day paired with a perfect fall wedding.  Shannon, with her auburn hair and green eyes, reminds me of fall.  I thought it was so fitting Shannon and Justin would get married this time of year.  After photographing Shannon and Justin’s engagement pics I just knew their wedding would be beautiful.  From the exquisite dress to the handsome groom in white, the flowers, the Toledo Glass Pavilion portraits, the breathtaking reception hall and to the smiles and happy tears during the toast, this wedding was gorgeous from start to finish.  A big thank you to Shannon, Justin and their families!
