{Hello Henry}

Henry looked out the window and decided he wanted to head outdoors for his photo shoot. We are lucky to have Sylvania’s Histroical Village across from our studio! We headed over there for some play and pictures, and it was a Saturday morning well spent. It’s so nice to have a relaxed shoot, with Henry giving us some smiles and laughs in between him grabbing his bunny ‘rabby’ and walking away from the camera. I also love listening to Julie sing to Henry throughout the session. I could listen to your lullaby’s and ‘made-up’ songs all day. No joke.

This last picture cracks me up. Mom? Dad? Who is this lady?

I am so excited to showcase some of my favorite pictures from a recent session with Dean and his parents. I have watched him grow this past year and it’s amazing how blessed I am to be able to do what I do. I will never stop saying this. I wake up every morning and look forward to my day. Jen and I say that we love Mondays. *Cheesy* But it’s true. We get to preserve something that others cherish. We try our best to tell a story, and every day we grow and learn and in between it all we love all of our clients,whom we consider our friends. Gina and Rich-you two are such wonderful parents, and thank you for being yourself in front of me…loving on Dean and singing to him, all the while allowing me to swing a head-full of frizzy hair around in order to get a silly face (for just a few). Enjoy these few and more to be coming your way.

{Megan} Lake High School Senior

I met Megan last year in the Fall for part of her senior pictures at the old DANA building, which is now Health Care REIT. It is a gorgeous building with an equally gorgeous landscape. We took pictures here on a beautiful day and the first few I have posted our from that session. Megan is involved in a lot of sports, but at the same time, she has a certain softness about her that I enjoyed photographing. I am pretty sure that if we were to play each other in softball she would kick my butt, especially since her position is 3rd base and mine, well..it’s right field So, for our second session, we met at the Lake High School softball field. We played around here for a while and also stepped over to the train tracks and also a set of old semi trucks that were calling us for a picture. Megan, you and your dimple rocked this session. I wish you a prosperous season and a memorable summer as you head to Bowling Green. p.s. I couldn’t for the life of me post the Yankee Picture

{How Are you Feeling Today?} Ayden Turns One

You know the poster that has says, How are you Feeling Today? It has 100 different faces to choose from and itis usually tacked to the ceiling at the dentist office? Well, Ayden could have been their poster child. He was so expressive during his one year photo shoot. The first picture I took is posted, and his face seems to tell me either ‘indifferent’ or ‘whatyoutalkinboutwillis?’ He warmed up quickly and enjoyed crawling to the camera. This turned into a game that he loved, and we well, we didn’t really love this game but we got a work-out in from it. But, we do anything for a happy baby I loved being able to capture every ounce of this one’s personality…thank you Erica and Tim! Some of my favorites…

{Megan and Ryan}A Green Wedding

Not only was this wedding the MOST perfect Spring day, but it was also St. Patrick’s Day! Who would have thought that it would have been 70 degrees, sunny, flowers blooming and the photographer would be sweating on March 17th 2012. I was so happy that Megan and Ryan had such a beautiful day. I have been talking with Megan about this-and-that for months now and EVERY SINGLE TIME I talk to her, get a text from her, a message, she is amazingly sweet. You know in the cartoons where the princess strolls along and there is that fresh air breeze and flowers behind her… that’s what Megan is like. We actually shared a moment while I was taking her portrait. Honestly, I teared up. We had talked so much and looked forward to this grand day for so long, she looked so beautiful that the tears started flowing! I was glad when we could both laugh about it! I loved this gorgeous day!! Thank you to you both Megan and Ryan!
