{Brady & Tagan} Big Sister, Little Brother

June 7th, 2011

What’s that? Another newborn!? That’s right. Little Brycon slept pretty much throughout the entire session which went incredibly well. He stayed in mom’s arms for a few pictures and then easily went from crate to wagon in no time.  I fell for his big sister,  Tagan, who came into the studio acting very shy. Her big hazelly green eyes trying to figure out our place and ever so slowly she began to melt into her happy personality. I was happy to try out one of our yellow flowers from Blue Blue Boutique-(thank you Brandi! )  She was so good with her new baby brother and grandma came along to help make her smile. It was so nice to have those extra set of hands! THANK YOU!

I had a date on Friday night!  I know, I was excited too.  His name was Blaise and he’s just a little over 2 weeks old. :o He came into the studio lookin all cute with his little Harley onesie and socks on.  I could go on and on about this little one… his family… but for those of you who know his story and family you know he is so precious, he is a miracle and he shares a special name.  Blaise and I (oh and his mommy and daddy too) hung out in the studio for a while and got some cool cuddling and sleeping shots.  Then Blaise took me out on his Harley (or his daddy’s Harley).  hahaha!  This is going a little too far isn’t it.  Anyway, what a beautiful family and Juli you are so gorgeous.  Really, I couldn’t get over it! You are stunning.  Thank you again for hanging out and relaxing (wink, wink) you know what I mean. ;)

The picture below made me laugh.  It was like he was saying no more pics!

{Maddy Paddy at Wildwood}

June 3rd, 2011

Here’s to the birthday girl! Maddy is turning 3 this month and to surprise her I brought two pink balloons. I couldn’t get over how EXCITED Maddy was to see me, or was it that I had the balloons to hand over to her?  Check out this first picture and how stinking adorable it is when [...]

Here’s to the birthday girl! Maddy is turning 3 this month and to surprise her I brought two pink balloons. I couldn’t get over how EXCITED Maddy was to see me, or was it that I had the balloons to hand over to her?  Check out this first picture and how stinking adorable it is when little kids get excited!  It was so funny that these balloons stayed tied on her wrist for a total of about 2 minutes before they were accidently released into a nearby tree. Luckily, Sarah’s boyfriend was there to do a swift rescue and keep from a meltdown (my meltdown)So we hung out in the park on a beautiful evening (one of the rare May photo shoots that didn’t have to get rescheduled!) and played around, snapping pictures of the sweet and ever-so incredibly CUTE Madison. Why Maddy Paddy? I am not sure anymore why I call her that?  The name stuck, not the reason for it.  The other funny thing is that earlier that week I stopped at an Estate Sale to tinker around and I found a tablecloth for JEM’s next camping trip. The table cloth looked adorable with Madison laying on it and those turned out to be my very favorite. Happy Birthday Sweet Madison!

{Happy Little Ella} 8 Months Young

This soft little 8 month old was so super happy when they came to the studio a while ago.  I have been photographing her big sister Lydia for 3 years and it was the first time that I had seen Ella. I couldn’t get over how much they are nearly identical (Ella looks just like Lydia did at that age) . Check out how many cute faces little Ella has. When mom pulled out this vintage bib that her mother had given her, I knew we had to put this 8 month old in our carriage and she loved it. Infact, Ella loved anything we did with her. She was happy from beginning to end and I enjoyed going through every single one of these pictures.   Of course, Lydia jumped in for a few pictures since she had turned 3 and talked away. Nancy, it’s always good to see you and kudos to our helper that day!
