-Wedding Day, Allison & Nick-

  • August 14, 2010 3:31 pm

Finally, the weather cooperated for me on wedding day!!!  The hot/humid cloud has been over most of my weddings this year, but this day in particular was perfect.  Loved the blue sky and non-humid breeze.  It was a great perk on this beautiful wedding day for Allison and Nick.   After the sweet ceremony for this couple we headed to Maumee Bay for some beach pictures and a reception that was just a bunch of fun.  Now let me explain what I mean by a bunch of fun.  You know how there are those crowd participation kind of dances at weddings like the chicken dance, the train, electric slide?  Well I think every single interactive song was played and performed perfectly by the guests at this wedding.  Not kidding when I say I think I counted 14 different interactive dances!  Needless to say there were so many smiles and just a bunch of fun going on.   Thanks all for such a great day together and all the fun that came with it!

Jodi & Jordan’s Wedding

  • August 13, 2010 4:51 pm

It is always an added plus when I get to photograph a wedding for someone I know…and for those of you reading this and don’t happen to know Jodi or Jordan, chances are you know someone in their family.  Everything from the start of this day went so smoothly and calmly, I almost couldn’t believe it, but I think even if there was a tornado happening it wouldn’t have bothered EITHER of them.   The more and more I got to know Jodi and Jordan, the more and more I realized how perfect these two are for each other…and anyone who knows them will agree.  As always, I love toasts during the reception and the story of how these two were introduced confirmed my gut instinct: yup, made for each other.   I started off this blog with something borrowed and ended it with something to hold on to…

The Chemistry between Ryan and Hannah

  • July 19, 2010 6:08 pm

As you scroll through these photos you will notice Hannah smiling in the majority of them. Hannah-you are so easy to photograph as you are always smiling.  I loved how Ryan told me that he never knew how to smile for pictures until he met Hannah.  Hannah, I think I was showing my pearly whites while taking your picture. You just got that way about you.  Everything about this days was wonderful; you had family, friends, love and laughter. What more do you need?  I could go on about the chemistry the two of you have but I think the photographs speak better than my words.

I had such a great time on this day in June and though it’s been a few weeks since this wedding I hope you can go through these and smile all over again.

Jake and Jaime

  • June 30, 2010 1:26 am

These two tied the knot a couple weeks ago at Wildwood in the heat of the day.  Jaime was my most RELAXED bride I have ever photographed-wow, it was so awesome .  Let’ s just say 20 minutes before the ceremony it poured rain for a good 10 minutes and Jaime didn’t freak out.  In fact, it didn’t even seem that she noticed.  It wouldn’t have mattered anyways because the sun came out and dried it all up before the ceremony.  That will definitely be something years from now when they look back and say, remember when?  And smile. And laugh. And remember the love they still have because that’s what matters in the end. Not if it rained or if it shined bright skies. It’s all about the love that they share and will continue to share. You two are a beautiful couple (my country couple) and I wish you many, many blessings on your journey together.

-Abbey + Shawn Wedding-

Simply said, Abbey & Shawn’s wedding was a wonderful day all together.  There was so much love, laughter, family and friends that it was hard not to get emotional during the ceremony.  Of course its also hard when the father of the bride had tears even at the rehearsal not to mention coming down the isle and all through the ceremony.  I felt the love for these two to my core.  It was pure joy on the faces of both sets of parents, grandparents and friends and hopefully you see that in this short blog.

To the bridal party, you were so much fun and to the groomsman who got everyone to skip for the camera, you rock!  Family and friends it was so nice to feel the warmth and kindness from you guys and I loved witnessing all the plain old family love going on.  Finally to Abbey and Shawn, you truely are a beautiful couple on the inside and out.   Your day was not only gorgoeous but what an amazing celebration of your love.  Thank you so much!
