{Loving Some Sean} 6 Month Toledo Baby

April 3rd, 2012

This was a fantastic session from last week. This lil man is all smiles and oooohhhs. He loves his big brother Zach, and Zach, as you can see is loving on his little brother too.  We ‘played’ around the studio and Zach helped us out a lot in getting Sean’s attention. I’m not sure if it was the double bunny ears he put on my head, or the umbrella he was dancing with or maybe the fan and farting noises that Sean enjoyed most.  But I can tell you that when Zach, who is 3 years old told me that he remembered three things from our last shoot which were in this order: I had rotten bananas in the studio, I gave him a cookie, and I was boo-tiful, which made my heart melt a little bit.  I had so many great ones of the two boys together, but my absolute favorites are the ones that show their personality…Zach in the background trying to make Sean laugh, and then him leaving the ‘stage’ I absolutely adored all these pictures and it was hard for me to narrow them down for the blog, but I had to include the scissor kick. So cute!

{Well, Hello!} Eddie & Amy + Leo too

March 28th, 2012

Meet Leo, the cutest golden-doodle I have ever met.  He almost doesn’t seem real, he is so perfectly adorable. Eddie and Amy agree that he is so wonderful that they wanted pictures to document him as a puppy because we all know that they grow up so quick.  So, we played around their new apartment, fed him treats, took him outside for a walk, and finally by the time we got to the clock tower at The Hilton, he was exhausted. He sat quite perfectly still for his portrait :)   I loved during this shoot how Eddie continuously kept gazing at Amy and saying how pretty she was.  Sweet Amy would smile softly and I have so many pictures of this: Eddie admiring his soon to be bride and Amy smiling her pretty smile. You guys are so very wonderful together and I wish you the best always…

{Evelyn}Little miss blue eyes

March 23rd, 2012

You would never EVER be able to tell that Evelyn wasn’t feeling her best and getting her picture taken was not her favorite on this day.  Evelyn was such a sweet subject!  Her blue eyes were so pretty, I couldn’t turn any of the images to black and white.  What a precious little girl!  Love mornings where I get to spend time with a little person like this!

{Aubry} You are Sweet & Dainty

March 21st, 2012

A few pictures from a session with a dainty baby girl who just turned 6 months. How I love this age! We had her in a soft pink, ruffly dress to begin with and she wanted nothing to do with it! She hated her ruffles, and though we were imaging her sitting there, with a big smile on her face…Aubry had a different plan.  However, if you put mom or dad with her then she was one happy baby. I love the one of her lying down with mom above her.  Such sweet looks and the daintiest of expressions. Thank you Karen and Rick for working up a sweat that day!

{Dale Fordham}Toledo’s very own!

March 21st, 2012

The man, the myth, the legend.  Dale Fordham.  How can you not love this face????

Dale brings such positivity to each and every wedding.  Always happy and always smiling.  JEM gets so excited when we find out we’re working with Dale.  Not only does it mean a great dinner time, but it also means we get to spot him doing things like this… videographing and ab workout in one!

Dale being the professional that he is.  These were the only serious images we could find of Dale.

He even puts his life on the line for that impromptu moment…

And our most favorite, Dale tackling the tall grasses!

Dale, we always have a blast working with you!
