-St. John Family-October 28th, 2009What a perfect fall day for family portraits. We met at Pearson Park today for pictures and it was the best fall day yet. Probably won’t be many more days like this. So glad I could enjoy the day with such a beautiful family. I am probably posting more than enough photos but just had to. Adorable! |

There are some people that before you ever meet them, you feel like you know them. The Jeffers made me feel like this. They were all so, so nice and welcoming. There backyard was like a mini-park and it was perfect for some fall pictures. Sweet Grace and I played in the leaves while Madelyn enjoyed her pet monkey who made her laugh. I enjoyed the company, all the while with a camera in my hand.

Last Sunday the Susan G. Komen for the Cure presented their 9th annual Breast Cancer Awareness Month Style Show at the Hilton, Levis Commons. My mom was asked to be one of the models for the day as she is in her 6th year of being cancer free! Six years!! How awesome that is! I was able to snap a few of her strutting down the runway in her outfit from Dillards while shedding a few happy tears from where I was sitting. It is so awesome to hear all of these miraculous women tell their stories of being a survivor. Here’s the cutest 60 year old I know…
