I remember driving by the Cathedral in the Old West End many years ago and glancing upward and thinking to myself that one day I might be lucky enough to photograph someones wedding there. Years later, I now have the privilege of photographing peoples happy moments that are shared inside these four walls. Kate and Brian had been engaged for two years and this church, I believe, went along perfectly with everything that Kate had dreamt of. I say that but I never even really talked about the Rosary with Kate or Brian so I am completely assuming this…but for some reason these words all go together: Elegant. Kate. Rosary Cathedral. But the thing that I found out from their wedding day, was that more than that, Brian wentwith Kate. They just fit together. I have to note that if you look through our wedding blogs and engagement pictures you will notice that JEM loves to document feeling and emotion and many of times this involves some smooching/schnuzzling. Well, I was informed that maybe these public displays might not be ‘displayed’ for me…well I won’t make you ever do something you may feel uncomfortable about, so I was completely blown away when Brian had no problem what-so-ever showing some sweet love to his, seriously Ga-orgeous bride. Kate, you looked like you could have walked out of a castle in Ireland. Many more pictures to come, but in the meantime, here are my personal faves…
I can’t write this blog without giving a shout-out to my most wonderful assistant, Colleen Barrett…Colleen, your picture is soon to be posted (turtleneck in summer??)
