I have watched this Dad’s portrayal of his gorgeous family on instagram for a while now. It’s beautiful the way he posts about all his girls. Needless to say I was excited to photograph this family too after seeing all the lovely things Dad posted. It was an absolutely gorgeous night and we set up shop in their backyard and just played. Evening light, floral dresses, flowers in the hair and family fun is just the best! Thank you family!

Meet Evelyn! I’ve been photographing her since she was born and I love when her mommy contacts me every year. The amazing thing is Evelyn’s mommy lets me do whatever I want in the shoot… there is no talk of Pinterest or ideas… she lets my creativity run wild and that’s when I’m at my best. We played, wore several pretty dresses, looked for frogs, laughed, giggled and let Evelyn be Evelyn… our favorite! We love showing and capturing personality and what a personality Evelyn has!

This was one of those weddings… one of those weddings out of the ordinary, a chance taken with weather, the use of a family home that is more like a park than a residence… a wedding more intimate with a setting in nature. The bride knew she didn’t want her wedding anywhere else except her sister’s home. With a chance of rain, that came in the morning, cleared to one of those beautiful spring days followed by the golden light so loved by my camera. I loved it all, the Persian ceremony, the relaxed yet gorgeous grounds of the home, the close family feelings, campfire, live band and on and on. It was one of those beautiful unforgettable weddings that I was so lucky to be a party of. Love to you… the new Barefoot couple. 🙂
