After photographing their lovely fall maternity pictures, I was invited to the house to photograph their new bundle of joy! Their house was beautiful as was the light and love for their new little girl. I had no idea that mommy and daddy both went to LSU until I went down into their purple and yellow LSU inspired basement. Andrew (daddy), in fact, played football and showed me his box of championship rings! It was fitting to put their new little one in his helmet. I adore you guys, I’m sure she’s so big now, thank you again!

{Jaime and Kyle} Toledo Loves YouJanuary 26th, 2017Let’s start with how incredible this couple is. Their love story started at Whitmer High School and as many love stories go, there was some time apart. A break. Let’s start with how incredible this couple is. Their love story started at Whitmer High School and as many love stories go, there was some time apart. A break. And I gather that was when they realized, it’s not who you can live with, but it’s who you can’t live without. Again, this COUPLE….they are truly best friends, knowing each other so well, that I think they know exactly what the other is thinking. These two feel things all the way, there is no half way, it’s all or nothing. For example, when I arrived to start getting some detail shots of the dress and things, Jaime came up to me as she was ‘taking a break’ from hair and makeup because she was feeling so emotional. She said, it was like every time she looked at anyone she just loved them so much and all the memories with that specific person were flooding her heart. I paraphrased that.
All. Day. Long.
Kyle was getting ready at the Wingate Hotel, up the street from Lourdes and after making a few jokes about how I should hire him to be an assistant, he showed me the shoes I was to take back to Jaime. They held a note on the bottom of them, that Jaime said she couldn’t read till after the wedding ( for fear of losing those emotions!) And those beautiful emotions…those emotions that JEM loves to capture were heightened during the ceremony. Kyle seeing Jaime walk down the aisle to ‘I’ve loved you for a thousand years’ was a beautiful sight to see. Jaime’s cousin married the two of them at Botanical Gardens under the gazebo and the rest of this mid October day went incredibly smoothly. One little surprise that Jaime’s mom threw in was knowing how much her daughter and son-in-law loved BGSU, she hired the mascots to make an appearance. There are so MANY more little things from this day that I loved…an Uncle Scott that was pretty great 😉 and the owner of a small bar in town, The Tribe, surprised them with a bar ‘makeover’ decorated for their wedding, and all the speeches, and Photo Booth fun and grandmas and grandpas dancing and the side trip to Whitmer, so that we could photograph those two at the coordinates of where it all started.
Here’s to your happily ever after…you deserve it all.
